prints of the first five images below are available from An Post. These are limited to 750
sets and I have individually signed and numbered each print. The four stamp images have
the stamp affixed in the border with a special first day cancellation. The Malahide

AMIENS STREET STATION
The first of the steam era designs features GNR V Class engine no. 85 Merlin arriving
with an Enterprise train at Amiens Street Station in the early fifties. This engine is now
preserved. |

BOYNE VIADUCT
The second design features the Boyne viaduct. Crossing the viaduct is a north bound
train being hauled by Qs class engine No. 131 which is also preserved. |

BELFAST CENTRAL STATION
The third design features the modern Belfast Central Station with an Enterprise train
poised ready for departure to Dublin with the H & W shipyard cranes dominating the
background skyline. |

BELFAST-DUBLIN ENTERPRISE
The fourth design features the modern Enterprise passing through the countryside. |
|
|
MALAHIDE VIADUCT
This painting features south bound S class 440 no.170 Errigal crossing the
low viaduct near Malahide. This artwork was commissioned for the Minisheet shown below. A
sister engine, no 171, still exists in preservation. |

This illustration was commissioned for the First Day Cover of the Belfast-Dublin
Railway commemorative stamp issue shown below. It represents the steam era, the early
diesel transition era, and the modern Enterprise. |

This illustration was commissioned for the First Day Cover of the Luas stamp issue.
It depicts a comparison between an old Sutton-Howth electric tram and the new Luas
trams. |
